Important information on insurance packages:
FRANCHISES: The franchise will be blocked by a pre-authorization via POS.
BASIC AND BASIC PLUS: These covers include, within the limits and exclusions established in the policy, the partial damages or the total loss that the insured vehicle may suffer as a result of an accident caused by an exterior, violent and instantaneous cause, with total independence of the will of the driver and finding the vehicle both in circulation and at rest. In the event that the customer is responsible for the damage in question, he must take care of a maximum amount of the deposit (€ 900 with the BASIC insurance and € 450 with the BASIC PLUS). The rest would take over the insurance.
TOTAL INSURANCE: In this case, the client contracts a comprehensive insurance without franchise. This does not include damage related to the cleaning of the vehicle, but traffic accidents. As in the previous case, if the damages have been caused by misuse due to vandalism or having ingested alcoholic beverages or taken narcotics, the customer will be responsible for the full amount of the damage.
The amounts of the franchises are an economic guarantee in case of damage caused in the EXTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE, INSIDE THE CAMPER VAN AND ACCESSORIES INCLUDED IN THE BASIC RENTAL AND OPTIONAL. In the event that the damages have been caused due to misuse, poor maintenance, circulation on roads not suitable for driving vehicles, freezing of the radiator or the result of vandalism, as well as the material and personal damage caused by driving under the effects of alcoholic beverages, toxic drugs, narcotics, psychotropic substances or for not having a driving license in order, the amount of the card charge may be more than the amount of the franchise.
In the case of suffering an accident in which the client is not the culprit, the latter shall be responsible for carrying out and signing a Friendly Accident Declaration (DAA), "accident notice" or "part", and submitting it to Cargoling so that the company can process it. In the case of not presenting it properly signed by the driver at the time of the accident and by the other parties involved in the accident, the customer will have to be responsible for the damage caused to the vehicle, since Cargoling could not process the case with his company insurance. In addition, the driver must commit to facilitate all their collaboration, including coming to trial if necessary, in order to defend the interests of Cargoling against responsible third parties.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Only bookings that have contracted TOTAL INSURANCE will be cancelable. In this case, the booking can be canceled up to 12h before the pick-up time of the camper. The TOTAL coverage also includes cancellation or change dates (the date change is allowed in a single occasion). If you cancel with this coverage, the payment and signal will be returned in full. If canceling with BASIC or PLUS coverage, the pay and signal is not returned.
BASIC INSURANCE: Allows only one person to drive.
INSURANCE PLUS: Allows driving and insuring 2 people.
TOTAL INSURANCE: Allows driving and insuring as many people as you wish.
It is important to enter the driver's information at the time the reservation is made or, in the case of the PLUS and TOTAL insurance, add the data in the mail that will be send to you 3 days before the vehicle is picked up.
